TREGONY CLOCKHOUSE PLAYERS
What an extraordinary few months it’s been since we performed ‘Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves’ way back in February! We hope you are all well and have managed to cope during these strange times.
It is with deep regret that we have made the difficult decision not to stage a pantomime in February 2021. Given the continuing uncertainty, we simply do not feel we can commit to staging a pantomime next year. It would be very difficult to rehearse and maintain social distancing, and doubt that our audiences will feel confident enough to attend performances.
We are extremely disappointed not to be able to stage a pantomime for the first time in forty-one years, but regrettably have no option, as the health and safety of our members and audiences must be our priority.
If regulations continue to be relaxed, we hope to be able to organise social and fund-raising events in the New Year. We will let you know as soon as we have anything planned.
We thank all our friends and audiences of the past forty-one years. Please take care of yourselves, and we look forward to a time when we can all meet again. We fully intend to come back stronger, louder, and even more crazy in 2022, by which time we sincerely hope that normality will have been resumed.
Look out for updates on our website, <https://www.tregonyclockhouseplayers.co.uk/> or our Facebook page.
We self fund all of our pantomimes by raising money throughout the year. It takes a lot of us to put on a production, and if you fancy joining in, please contact us!
