Tregony Clockhouse Players are busy preparing for another beauty of a pantomime! Next February half-term, Beauty and the Beast will be taking over Tregony Village Hall - but there’s one thing missing …… YOU!

Have you always fancied treading the boards? Secretly practised your Oscar speech in the bathroom? Or perhaps you can roar like a Beast, flutter your eyelashes like Beauty, or simply enjoy a good laugh with a friendly group of people? If so, we would love to welcome you.

​

Not keen on being in the spotlight? – Don’t worry – every great pantomime needs an army of wonderful people behind the scenes. We need costume makers, scenery creators, backstage heroes, front-of -house smilers. Lighting and sound enthusiasts, tea makers, prop hunters and those amazing people who always seem to know where the sticky tape has disappeared to!

Children aged 5 to 11 are warmly invited to join our lively Children’s Chorus. If your youngsters love singing, dancing, dressing up and making new friends they will have a ball! 

We are always delighted to welcome teenagers too – whether they want to perform, help backstage, or learn the technical side of theatre.

No experience? No problem! The only qualifications you really need are enthusiasm, a sense of humour, and a willingness to join in. Before long you’ll discover that pantomime is about far more than putting on a show-

it’s about friendship, laughter, shared memories and plenty of hilarious moments that never quite make it into the script.

 

Our launch night is on Thursday September 3rd at Tregony Village Hall at 7pm. Please come along for a read through of the Beauty and the Beast script and to find out more about us.
